Dr. Biju Justus, BDS, MDS, is a Specialist Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon with a distinguished 27-year career in dental and surgical healthcare.

He is recognised for performing effectively under challenging surgical circumstances and for the specialised management of temporomandibular joint, or TMJ, dysfunction.

His consistent record of successful surgical outcomes has helped position Al Shamil Medical Centre as a trusted regional referral centre for complicated oral and maxillofacial cases.

Dr. Biju completed both his BDS and MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from Mangalore University, India.

His clinical expertise includes trauma and emergency management, laser surgery, complex oral procedures and high-precision wisdom tooth disimpaction.

He follows refined bloodless-surgery techniques and careful soft-tissue handling to reduce surgical trauma and make traditionally stressful procedures smoother and more comfortable for patients.

Before joining Al Shamil, he held an executive medical role in Sharjah, where he successfully managed a multidisciplinary panel of 18 dental surgeons.

In India, he served for four years as a Government Dental Surgeon, gaining extensive experience in public dental and emergency care.

He also contributed to dental education as an Assistant Professor of Oral Surgery at Yenepoya Dental College in Mangalore, sharing his surgical knowledge with future dental professionals.
