Dr. Rusheena Balakrishnan, BDS, MDS, is a Specialist Endodontist with more than 15 years of clinical experience.

She specialises in microscopic endodontics, using advanced magnification and precise techniques to diagnose and treat complex conditions affecting the dental pulp and root canal system.

Dr. Rusheena completed her dental education at Rajiv Gandhi University, India.

Earlier in her career, she served at Government Medical College, Trivandrum, where she gained valuable clinical experience in managing a wide range of endodontic cases.

She later moved into dental education and held senior academic positions as a Reader and Senior Lecturer.

Her academic appointments included Azeezia College of Dental Sciences and Sree Mookambika Institute of Dental Sciences.

Through her teaching roles, she contributed to the clinical development of dental students while continuing to strengthen her own expertise in endodontic diagnosis and treatment.

After her academic career, Dr. Rusheena transitioned into full-time specialist practice.

She has practised in Dubai, Ras Al Khaimah and Sharjah, building strong experience with patients across different clinical environments in the UAE.

Her advanced clinical expertise includes microsurgical endodontics for cases requiring highly precise surgical intervention.

She is also proficient in the non-surgical management of large periapical lesions, where carefully planned root canal treatment may help preserve the affected tooth.
